What the site is
Shop By Agent is an independent directory of AI shopping agents and agentic commerce tools. Listings are information, not advice or endorsement. Check a tool's own terms, pricing and availability before you rely on it.
Accuracy
We take listings from official pages and public sources and check them, but products change fast. We do not promise that every listing is complete, current or error-free. Tell us about mistakes and we will fix them.
Other websites
We link to the companies we list. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
Names and trademarks
Product and company names belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the tools listed. We are not affiliated with them unless we say so.
Sponsors and affiliate links
Sponsored placements are labelled "Sponsored" and are paid for. They never change what we list or how we describe it. We do not use affiliate links today; if we do, they will be labelled.
Sponsorship bookings
A sponsor week is confirmed by email before payment. We can decline a sponsor that is unlawful, misleading or not relevant to our readers. Prices are in US dollars. Details of a booking are agreed by email.
Submissions
When you submit a tool or correction, you confirm it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and let us use, edit and publish it. We decide what is listed.
Using the site fairly
Do not misuse the site: no spam, automated form submissions, scraping that harms performance, or attempts to break security.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using the site or the tools listed on it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other South African law that cannot be excluded.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
